Auriea Harvey
Ram (digital v1-dv1), 2021

3D Model (Variable)
657 x 524 px (minimum)
Edition: Unique
OBJKT#34986
1000 XTZ (Tezos) or contact gallery to collect in Fiat

About The Work:
In tandem with Harvey's solo exhibition at bitforms gallery, Year Zero, Harvey created born-digital sculptures, offered with NFTs. Harvey's 3D models are the inaugural works available on bit.art, in connection with the Tezos platform, Hic Et Nunc. These works feature five characters—Ram, Ox, Cyclops, Minoriea, and Messenger—who live inside the worlds and mythologies that Harvey alters. Harvey’s dedicated concentration on historical narratives is refigured through her retellings of analog and digital elements, unifying antiquity with emergent technology.

Collector Receives:
  1. A GLB file for browser viewing. This is the display copy of Ram v1-dv1 (2021)
  2. Two archival formats with 71,896 polycount: USDZ and DAE
  3. Index.html file for Hic Et Nunc specification. Index.html file can be renamed by collector to meet file naming or alternative platform standards
  4. Google model viewer used for viewing 3D model in web browser.
  5. PNG of AR button that activates model viewer
  6. Single thumbnail image in PNG format to represent the work on a platform or for documentation
  7. Additional texture and color files in PNG format

Conservation Notes:
bitforms gallery recognizes that files sent virtually may have additional compression added, as well as generated files through Hic Et Nunc. Although it is essential for this version of Ram v1-dv1 to be viewed in a browser, no specific browser is essential to the work, nor the model viewer. The only essential element of Ram v1-dv1 is the 3D Model, with all retained features, as seen in DAE file. This version of Ram v1-dv1 is not for 3D printing.

Collectors are encouraged to retain a full archival package for this work, which can be requested from bitforms at the time of purchase and may include: thumb drives containing the work with no compression, a certificate of authenticity signed by the artist, manual, a signed agreement. In lieu of the full archival package, collectors are encouraged to download and preserve the digital collector's package on at least two external hard drives of their choice, stored in two separate geographic locations. Files should be migrated to new external hard drives every 3-5 years.
